I recently won a $100 gift card from DermStore.com?and IFabbo?in a Facebook giveaway. ?I placed my order online on a Friday and it was at my door by Tuesday?that?s fast shipping! DermStore bills itself as ?your prescription for all things skin and beauty? and I would say this is accurate, but there is so much more! ?There are product reviews, a skin resources center, videos, interviews with brands, Questions and Answers with estheticians, and even a beauty blog.
The site has several categories for ways to shop including best sellers, shop by product reviews, award winners, gifts with purchase and natural and organic offerings. My favorite feature is the ?favorites list? you can create. When browsing the site, you can click ?add to my favorites? from any product page and create your own favorites list. When you order from your favorites list, you will receive 10% off your order. So cool! I keep a list of my staple items in my favorites. You can even schedule email reminders to be sent to you weekly or monthly?awesome!
Products available range from skincare to cosmetics, to bath and body, to perfume, to hair care, to men?s grooming and more! If you can?t find something at DermStore then you need to go back under your rock and hide. They have an excellent list of brands too.
As if that?s not all, all domestic orders are shipped free, there is free 2-day shipping with a $100 order, free samples and auto-refills?get the 5thone free! Honestly, why would you NOT shop with Dermstore? I can?t think of a reason.
To give you an idea of the fab brands available, here is a look at my most recent order:
Juara Rice Facial Cleanser ($25)?- this is a really nice mild semi-foaming milky cleanser that has the most lovely intoxicating smell! I?m a big fan of Juara, an?Indonesian brand. This cleanser is patterned after the traditional Indonesian rice water rinse,?it leaves the skin bright and softened.? The cleanser is sulfate-free and paraben-free.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 ($52) - I?ve been wanting to try this ever since I got a sample from Sephora. It it hands-down one of the best primers I?ve ever used.? Thank goodness it?s part of the permanent line! Lots of primers feel heavy and like they are just sitting on my skin rather than actually absorbing. Veil really does absorb and has such a lightweight texture my skin doesn?t feel like I have 2,700 layers of product on.? Hourglass?Veil not only? increases the wear time of makeup, but it?absorbs excess oil, softens the appearance of fine lines and pores, and provides has an SPF of 15 for sun protection.? I would prefer a greater SPF but I know that would?change the texture so I?ll sacrifice and use a stronger SPF in addition. ?All that and no nasty?parabens, synthetic fragrances or dyes, sulfates or phthalates. Whee! Veil is quite ideal for us over 40 women to ?veil? our imperfections like pore size and lines and makes makeup glide on and keeps it looking fresh for hours. It is expensive but I?estimate this 1 fl.oz bottle will probably last me 5-6 months. I can see a noticeable difference between using Veil and?not?my skin is smoother and even. I?ll take that any day!
Hourglass Visionare Eye Shadow in Dune ($38) - ?I?ve heard so many rave reviews of? the ?Hourglass eye shadow duos than I figured?since I had a gift card I would try one out. ?I chose Dune, a duo with shimmering champagne and shimmering olive green. The packaging on these duos is very original?you slide the top on the compact around and there is a mirror that swivels out. It?s kinda of clunky and not that useful in my opinion. I would prefer simpler packaging to keep the cost more reasonable. I do appreciate the inclusion of a brush rather than the yucky and worthless sponge applicators though. I haven?t had a chance to use the Dune duo yet but I will have a review coming soon! P.S. I also want to try the Hourglass lipsticks.
Sue Devitt Sharpener ($10)?- It may seem silly, but tools are important! I love theSue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils and I found I didn?t have another sharpener that was the correct size for them so now I do!
LaLicious Sugar Souffle Body Scrub In Sugar Kiss ($9.50) -? this was recommended to me by Tonia of Beautisol, my fav self tanner (which DermStore carries by the way). She said the smell was delicious and it made her skin super soft and she?s right! I just love getting advice from my beauty pals?they are always spot on! I think I?ve become addicted to sugar scrubs. Nothing works better to gently exfoliate my dry winter skin. I?ve used other scrubs but the sugar scrub doesn?t hurt or rip my skin and the LaLicious scrub leaves behind coconut oil and Vitamin E to moisturize and make my skin feel silky.
LaLicious Sugar Reef Body Butter- this was a gift with purchase with ANY LaLicious purchase! It?s?infused with shea butter,?aloe vera, fruit extracts and essential oils for a rich and emollient feel.
My shopping experience at DermStore couldn?t have been any better. The awesome customer service, the lightening fast (and free!) shipping and the sheer breadth of?selection will keep me coming back! Oh and don?t forget 10% your favorites! Make sure you ?like? the?DermStore Facebook page for promos, trends, giveaways and general info.
Thank you to Ifabbo for hosting this giveaway on their Facebook Page, and thank you to Dermstore.com for an excellent shopping experience!
